Welcome back to yet another enthralling issue of me doubting my videos during development. Once again, if you have questions, check the about page, or look at the prior blog post.
Last week's video has finally been released as of Thursday, and with that I get to actually re-asses what I'd like to do based off data. I already said last week how I wasn't crazy about the direction that video was heading in, so I'm glad to see others felt similarly. The theory of fake clickbait thumbnail didn't work out as I thought it would, it's something to experiment with in the future sure, but as for this time I'm just gonna skimp on it since this video has some rough time constraints.
Judging by the viewer retention of the last video, I wanted to keep this upcoming one a lot shorter and more concise. Once again I must re-iterate that I'm not a Let's Player, so the format of my last was thrown out of the window, however I did enjoy working on the intro, and given that's where a lot of the peak viewer retention is, I'd say others enjoyed it as well. I'm shifting focus to explanatory content where I'll choose a topic and cover it, writing a script and following it with visual representation along the way. As for actual progress on the video, happy to report that the script is complete and recorded, only thing left is to collect footage. As for what the video actually is, It's focusing on the Persona 5 Royal modding scene, specifically of the newly released Nintendo Switch Version.
GameBannana hosts all of the mods I plan on showcasing in the video, and I've already got links to every one for proper crediting. Of course as of writing this I've yet to actually mod the game myself because I've had barely any time to work on this with my busy weekend, but still hopeful for a Thursday release date just like the last video. I'm staying dedicated to that, and I'm excited to work on this in the coming days. As for next video plans, I'd like to gauge if people enjoy this style (hoping so), and if so I'll try to find another game with an interesting modding scene. Current idea is something relating to Yakuza, but we'll see how that forms. That's about all for now, thank you for reading.
